Frodsham Youth Club

Frodsham Youth Club are looking to fill it’s current vacancy for a music mentor!

As a tutor you will be inspiring and encouraging young members to take up playing the Drums, Guitar, Keyboard etc. Equipped with all of the instruments, you will be delivering music sessions to a small group of circa 10 people. We are looking for a positive individual, who can handle teaching multiple young people, who are full of energy and a can-do attitude. We are ideally looking for someone local, someone who is potentially part of music band:

The Role:

• To work on bi-monthly basis during evenings circa 7pm-9pm
• Tutor multiple young people in a busy environment
• Build strong and positive relationships with adults and children

Requirements:

• Confidently be able to play at least 2/3 of the following instruments (Drums/Keyboard/Guitar/Vocals) with basic knowledge of the others.
• Good music knowledge
• IT literate and good organisational skills
• Confidently be able to play at least 2/3 of the following instruments (Drums/Keyboard/Guitar/Vocals) with basic knowledge of the others.

We are only looking to offer an unpaid voluntary position. Due to the nature of the position, any offer employment/agreement to work with FYA will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check, the successful individual will be on a short probation period for a minimum of 2 months (8 music sessions).
